DVD Delayed
 

From the band's MySpace:

"Hello Alter Bridge Nation,

It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you that our DVD, Alter Bridge - Live From Amsterdam, has been delayed temporarily.

We spoke to our manager and he has informed us that some legal issues have arisen with our old label, Wind-Up, and our current label, Universal. He hopes to have these issues resolved soon and we are hoping to announce a new release date next week.

We deeply regret this delay and as soon as we hear word when our DVD will be released worldwide we will post a new blog, so make sure to check back.

Can't say I am suprised, Wind-Up wants 100% focus on Creed, They will do everything in thier power to shut down the Alter Bridge camp!

They still have distribution rights of ODR or something along those lines.

Wind-up still has a say on the ODR songs. Even though the DVD was filmed on the blackbird tour they played songs from ODR and windup still has some rights on those songs. So windup, I figure is trying to accomplish one or two goals. One, they want money or more money from the deal. Two, they are just trying to delay the release of the DVD because Creeds DVD is due out here in about a month and dont want ABs to affect sales. It seems Windup has just with in the past week came up with there complaints so it seems to me that they are just trying to push back the release date.

know it but they will find one in smallest print They will find something to bind AMEN just the way it is thats just so uncool right now plus gotta wait on the dvd

Oh well... It'll be out soon enough.

I know some people will hate me for saying this, but i'm so absorbed in Creed at the moment, Alter Bridge aren't getting any attention from me.

Hmmm I see what you mean... Once AB get some new material out i'll probably forget about Creed as well, but at the moment my focus is solely on Creed...
