I heard a song over the weekend called, "She speaks to the dead" by Evergrey and I immedietly fell in love with it. It's a awesome song. I went to work and they were in the Heavy Metal section, but they had only 3 CD's and the song I wanted was not on any of them. My boss, Craig, burned the entire album for me because it is no longer available and the entire CD rocks. It is called: Solitude, Dominance, Tragedy and I love it. They are from Sweden and they sing with so much emotion. I am going to get all of their CD's because I just love them. You will have to check it out. I am in the process of seeing whether or not they have a website. If I find one, I will post it.

I haven't found a website yet, but I am still looking. Has anyone heard of them?

Yes. They're a great band. The singer is great. "Recreation Day" is cool.

Ok, I bought Recreation Day today.....I LOVE this CD, too! I am telling you, this band just draws you in. I love both of the ones that I have now. Next payday I will have to get the other 2. I went shopping at the mall today and bought some cute new clothes so I need to quit spending for awhile........LOL!

Who is thier music similiar to? Is is metal or rock?

It's considered metal, but it's not harsh, garbage disposal music like I thought it would be. Most metal to me is too much for me to take, but the singer is just awesome and the music is incredible. I mean, it's unexplainable.

I really can't put another band next to them, they are really different from what I've heard of. And as hotforscott said, the singer is awesome.

I know, I can't think of anyone they are up against either. They are definitly unique.

What other bands could they be compared to? For another awesome Swedish band, check out Blindside (http://www.blindside-silence.com . New album due out for them in a short while!

I haven't checked out the clips because my modem's too slow for that...won't play them :(.

Thanks Bearfan. I will have to check out Blindside. I don't really know who to compare Evergrey, too. Do you like Dream Theater? I just can't think of anyone else that they are up next to.
