Hi, im new to the forum, i was just doing a search on my new favorite band
SHINEDOWN and this site came up. So i decided to throw some more support behind them and tell all of you to give them a listen, they're a truly individual band, no formula rock. and really nice guys on top of that, hey will stop and talk to anyone for 20 minutes if tey have nowhere to be.
anyway LISTEN TO SHINEDOWN AND BUY THE CD, THANK YOU.

i like 'em too, though i wouldn't agree w/ your assessment that it's not formulaic. there's nothing from 'em i haven't heard before, but i'm not complaining b/c i don't mind listening to bands that sound alike/similar.

Nope!! They will be touring with Soil though from the 16th of June until the 17th of July... and after that Van Halen!! :D

And YES!! I have the CD! It took me 6 weeks of waiting hahaha but thank God that there are Import-shops! :D
It's just weird that they're re-releasing their debut-cd... :eek: I'd rather loved an EP with the "new" stuff...

SHINEDOWN are set to re-release their CD "Leave A Whisper" on June 15th. The re-release will feature three brand new audio tracks from 'The Sanford Sessions'. Songs include 'Simple Man', a new version of 'Burning Bright', an acoustic rendition of their hit song '45', as well as the video for '45'.

hmmm, i think i might have to buy that, b/c their acoustic "simple man" version is awesome, and "45" kicks ass too, so it should be good acoustic
