need quick help with creed's numbers
okay i am in a middle of a debate and i need help real quick! please help me! :)
i am fairly sure Creed's touring numbers in the middle of their Weathered tour were very big and second only to DMB in the US that year. Can somebody give me a list of artists and their touring numbers for that time showing Creed's postion? This is quite urgent......thanks! |
I can't help you there sorry, creed.com has very useful information on touring and concerts though (and I must say, that's about it)

Oh that sucks
You needed it for a debate? What do you mean, what happened? lol |

its a debate over at the PJ board about the biggest stay at home band! This one guy is argueing that Creed is and I said it is DMB and Phish. I said that Creed were second in touring numbers and he said they were nowhere to be seen. We were both wrong, they were no.8 which is still very impressive. Anyhow its a fun debate and you can come and look (and maybe even defend Creed) at http://forums.pearljam.com/showthrea...threadid=55857 thread is 3 pages long at the moment...... |
Thats quite interesting
But what a hard board to read  |

sweeeet we both like a debate and he doesn't even really care about the subject! no.8 for touring numbers is very impressive for that year! they are very big in Indonesia, India and the like! :) |

They have no argument, though. The people there are VERY ignorant. They think that Creed broke into the music scene in 1999. Also the whole argument is an attempt to give another reason why Creed "sucks". Any one that knows a thing or two about music knows that crappy artists can't sell for crap in other countries. That's another reason why rap is crap, but that's beside the point. They are incorrect. Creed sells a lot around the world. |

they are very ignorant but there are some that are fans and there a couple that frequent both here and Synergy. I have got one person to like Mark but giving her a few files of him shredding and the like. :) she doesn't like scott but she likes mark, which well is a start. in fact ain't you like that? :D about rap artists like Outkast are good I must say, but 50 Cent and the like does sell well arond the world which is a major letdown. selling a lot around the world doesn't equate to quality in my view although it can be an indication. the idol thing sells around the world but sucks so..... he was wrong about only selling in the U.S's bible belt though! don't worry when this new material comes out he'll have to eat his words! :D |

P.S. rap = crap is dumbest ting I've ever heard. Dont compare MTV rap with underground rap, mmmkay? |

don't do drugs mmmkay don't be a troll mmmkay britney is hot but can't sing mmmmkay Lechium is right MTV rap is not the same thing as underground rap! my numbers in that thread come from Creed's site who's numbers come from the RIAA. |
Numbers in this thread are pretty low... 3x plat in Canada doesnt count, cuz Canada = US almost. Platinum in indonesia is probably around 200k copies sold, gold in each major Euro country is very low... comparing to numbers they have in US, their foreign numbers suck.
