"Howard Says Scott Stapp Is An Asswipe. 12/01/05. 10:15am

During the news Robin brought up a story about Scott Stapp, formerly from the band Creed, who was apparently inebriated when he appeared on Spike TV's Casino Cinema show which Howard's girlfriend hosts. Howard said he heard the story from Beth who told him that Scott ended up cursing out Beth saying that ''bimbos like her'' don't go for him and stuff like that. Beth told Howard that she had the worst day at work because of that. Howard got kind of pissed because the people she works for didn't do anything about it. No one said a word to the guy because, as Howard said, ''they're all maggots.''
Gary said he heard that Scott was telling Beth that the only reason she's with someone like Howard is because he's got money. Gary had been in contact with Scott a couple of weeks ago and thought that he was a fan of the show. It turns out he's just a jerk and he was a ''jack off'' to Beth. Beth is fine with it all and asked him not to bother trying to take care of things his way. If Beth didn't ask him to hold off on that, this would be a whole different story.

Gary also told the guys that Scott wanted to come on the show to kick Dave Grohl's ass because Dave once goofed on him. The two of them apparently hate each other. Howard said he heard that Scott was running his hand up Beth's back while he was doing her show and it turns out he's just an asswipe and that's the end of it.

Ralph called in a short time later and said he saw Beth coming home yesterday and she looked really upset by what went on with Scott Stapp. Howard said she asked him not to get all worked up about it so he's going to leave it at that. Robin finished up her news after that. Bob told Howard a few more stories and remembered the first time he appeared on the show. Back then he told a story about his 11 year old son who wanted to meet Dolly Parton before he died so they contacted the Make-A-Wish foundation to try and make that happen. It never did. Bob said he usually doesn't mention his son when he talks about his kids because people get kind of bummed out when he tells them that he's passed away.

Bob tried to tell another story about his 14 year old daughter going to a rainbow party but the delay was hit and Howard wanted to talk to his girlfriend about the Scott Stapp thing. He wanted to apologize to her for saying that he called the staff maggots because she asked him not to. Howard said he's sorry he did that and said that she loves the staff over there. Howard told Beth that maggots are very important to the eco-system though. Beth said she was very mad at him for doing that and she didn't want him to bad mouth anyone over there. Howard said it was killing him to not say anything".


I can't wait to see him on the show :D

Its pretty funny that ole Howard got so upset, considering the way he treats female guests on his own show. This is a guy who gets off on making fun of retarded people, the handicapped, wants every female guest to show him her rack. I read somewhere that someone asked why is this guy still in the media. The answer was.....he caters to the lowest common denominator....18-25 year old males.

Howard was being nice. If he wanted to completely ruin any credibility Sapp has left he could have done that. He didn't want to give him the publicity

I dont want to defend howard, he may not be so nice (thats all what his show is about) but hes honest. Also I think howard is one of the people in this world that is ontop of his game and is really made to do what hes doing, I dont support what he does but hes one in a kind and very successfull at it.

Like Howard has any credibility. Besides, it's a litte late to not give Stapp the publicity imo. His g/f too. They should have thought about that several days ago.


What's so honest about making fun of the physically handicapped for christ sakes. Stern is disgusting.

Oh how I wish Stern was already on Sirius radio, so only 1/4 of the world would have to hear him, and they pay to do it! Don't care for the man much, can you tell? :mad1:

i agree he is but as i hate to admit it and 95 percent of majortiy wont admit it, we,ve all made fun of the handicapped at least once in our lifes, so its best not to judge even though he is an alien knowing and judgeing is two horses of a different color and evening knowing we can judge we know but look we for the beauty in something disgusting :) there is an ugly duckling in every beautiful swan :)

howard doesnt just make fun of the physically/mentally challenged people, hes making fun of himself all the time too and everyone else, thats what the show is mostly about.

Yea its sad but people find him ammusing, I believe his recent deal with sirius was closed at $500 million for 5 years.
