Does anyone know what the exact meaning is of the song Bound & Tied, I don't quite get it...

Honestly I was listening to Bound and Tied yesterday and thinking the samething. What is this song about? I love the song. I could guess what it means but I do not really know. I wonder if the guys ever explained it? I doubt it.

Looking at the lyrics, I think its about Stapps addiction to drugs and dealing with fame and fans. He feels bound & tied to them and not in a good way. He wants to be free from all the pressures and responsibilities of his life.

i think u hit the nail on the head with that interpretation. i was just reading the lyrics and was getting that kind of vibe. but i think it might have to do with his life before fame and forshadowed a bit....unless this song was done after My Own Prison was released.

well "bound and tied" was on the my own prison cd when it was released on creeds independant label. when they re-released on wind up, it wasnt there
