Prayer Request for My Mom
 

Hey everyone,

I just received some troubling news. My mom has been suffering from kidney stones. Her doctor is a naturopathic, herbal doctor. He of course told her to drink lots of water and to have no red meat until the problem is absolved. Well, due to the problem already heading that way, or due to not following her diet like she should have, or a combination thereof(the diet was a big factor or the factor regardless), she has now been told if she does not straighten up, she will need to go on dialysis for the rest of her life.

I don't want that to happen. I pray our Father does not want that to happen. Can you pray with me for her, that our Father in all His love and grace touches Her, either touches Her mind to follow the instructions of the doctor or touches her body even to heal her?

It's not a life or death sentence yet, but then it's also not much of a life, and naturally it does decrease the quality and over well being of it.

Amen indeed.

Apparently the information came from the doctor telling his mother, who then told/warned my mother.

So it's kind of second hand, but I don't doubt the potential severity of the situation.

In case anyone is wondering, the doctor is a family friend, and obviously his mother is a family friend as well. Our families have known each other for about 25 years now. Thank you both again for your thoughts and prayers.

No problem.

And I do have to say, Praise God, she's doing well.

We won't know anything for sure until September when she is tested again, but she's feeling better and sticking with what she's supposed to be doing. Obviously, she'll have to continue to do so. But her knees are feeling better too, and the doctor told her when she started to get her kidneys under control, her joints and knees would start feeling better too.

So, so far so good.:)

Almost forgot, or actually did forget I posted this one here.:o

She came through really well. The kidney stones were dissolved by the herbs and stuff she took. It does seem she's going to need to watch her diet still, but overall I really couldn't have asked for it to turn out any better. :)
