I didn't know about the callous- that's definitely bad news. Another singer that I like, James LaBrie of Dream Theater, had a vocal chord rupture that in the mid 90s and his voice wasn't 100% until around 2004-5.

But if Scott thinks he's singing better than 10 years ago, he's delusional. Just listen to the chorus.

Otherwise, crappy interview. Scott repeating talking points clearly handed down from the label and suggesting that Mark can't compete creatively with them when they're together = lame.

in Buffalo he did pretty pretty well man!! ,well not like those early days... but he was still awesome

well same with so many bands man,listen Nickelback live or Metallica i saw them here in Greece 2years ago and i have to say they were like 10times worst live than their albums.The Bufallo performance is awesome he did a pretty good job in everysong and i'm sure in the album he gonna sound amazing

So far he's been f.l.a.t. except for certain songs on certain nights but if he can somehow recover and sound like he did in Delray I'll be happy.
