2015 goals/resolutions

Anybody have any?
I am resolving to save more money. I want to buy a house in the next couple of years, but I really have to buckle down and put away enough for a good downpayment. I've broken it down by paycheck, so I have no excuses. :D

Enjoy the moment. Slow things down, look around, and just enjoy it.

I have done OK with saving, but I could do a lot better. Having major car issues didn't help, lol.

So yeah, I didn't save as much as I wanted to, but I'm going to work harder on it for 2016. We had a layoffs scare at work (our department was spared), but there's no guarantee it won't happen again this year, so I'm socking away as much as possible. Only one big trip this year, to Puerto Rico, coming up in February. Really have to buckle down.

I am lucky where I still live like a student but enjoy the saving benefits of full salaried employment. So my living expenses are pretty low.

So I am also saving up for a down payment for a house, I will probably be looking to buy this October, I just hope the housing market dies a bit until then so I get some good deals lol.

Good luck with house-hunting, X. I'm actually now considering a condo of sorts. I'm trying to find one that is set up like a single-family home, though.
