Did it ever occur to anyone that maybe VH1 counts votes by unique IP addresses? Which means, you could vote a thousand times in 10 minutes and only one of them would matter. There would have to be atleast a 6 hour gap between them, unless you had a method of changing your IP every few seconds. Just because you can keep voting, doesn't mean you can increase the number of people who voted...

I sincerely doubt that they count more the one submission from the same IP address, without having a limit in the system.
I haven't seen a site that doesn't use unique counting in a
very, very long time.....

The people over at ABB net actually got Alter Bridge's video "Watch Over You" to #3 on the countdown, and there's no possible way that could've happened if everybody just had one vote.

Maybe they do count page refreshes.....it just seems very flawed.

It's either that or VH1 rigs the countdown lol people do cheat on the countdown voting though, they use a program called "Ghostmouse" which I'll admit I've used too lol it basically runs ur mouse automatically for you so you don't have to keep voting yourself.

How can you tell what position the video is in?
Everytime I look on the main page, it shows Rain at 20.

I voted for 9 hours the other day.
