Promotion seems to be lacking for all but a few select bands the powers that be seem to think will sell the most. The industry is so screwed up right now. I will be happy when musicians don't need labels anymore.

Not to draw even more Pearl Jam comparisons (as if we haven't had enough of those over the years), but didn't they release their last album themselves? They didn't have a label involved. Creed could do that, couldn't they? Or is it too much of a financial undertaking for them?

With alter bridge wasn't it to get out of the contract though? I'm fairly certain Creed would be free to go elsewhere. I very very much hope they go to Roadrunner.

Hmm, I guess it depends on how money they invested when they were raking in the big bucks and whether they are actually free from Wind-up.
