Why's everyone so pissed about Chicago?

It's not the downfall of creed.
It's just happens sometimes, scott's probably taking it pretty hard that his voice is fading. At least he's not pulling an Axl Rose and just not showing up. Don't give up on creed for something little like that.

TeriB19 01-08-2003 09:36 PM

Agreed! I'd hate to see another spectacle like they had in Philly when Axl decided watching a basketball game from his hotel room in New York was more important than performing a concert for 15000 fans in Philly. Thing's in Chicago could've been a lot worse. The whole band could've been drunk and playing off key. Now THAT would be the downfall of Creed.

Hey, GtrPlyr! Welcome aboard!!!!

I believe you had to be there. It was not just a slap in the face, it was like a kung fu kick in the face.

LMAO Bec!!!!

creedfan47a 01-08-2003 10:17 PM

I hope it wasn't too harsh. :) My point is just to get over it, because complaining about it 24/7 is not going to change a thing.

TeriB19 01-08-2003 10:19 PM

<-------Still laughing. Build a bridge. Sorry, that just cracked me up.

We use it quite a bit here. You should use it in the past and start a trend. Hey, what did you think I was talking about when I said 'build a bridge'? That rodirocker should take up some kind of past time (ie building bridges) to take his mind off Chicgao??

TeriB19 01-08-2003 11:26 PM

In talking with my husband about this subject, he says maybe the original saying here in the past was "build a bridge and get over it". We Americans have a habit of cutting things down to make life less complicated. So perhaps we dropped the "build a bridge" part and just started saying "get over it". That makes sense.

here is your bridge ;-)

Amendment I
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or
of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition
the Government for a redress of grievances.

Now can I get a Amen :-)

creedfan2334 01-09-2003 01:46 PM

there is no excuse for a poor concert. this is his job. yes, his "office" is different than everyone else's, but does that give ANYONE an excuse to show up to work in the condition that Scott Stapp did on 12/29.

yes, creed is human. we all know that. but showing up to work piss drunk is not showing a sign on being human, its a sign of stupidity in my opinion, because its like u are asking to get fired. i knowe scott is having problems with a lot of things, and i can understand that, but alcohol does not resolve problems like that, it only makes them worse.

and for all of you who think i am a creed basher now, you are wrong. i still love creed, and they will still be my favorite band no matter what happens. but, i am not a cult worshiper of creed like it seems some people are. as a creed fan i have the right to be a little upset and angry when i pay $100 for two tickets to a show where even though 3/4 of the band played well, the other 1/4 still can ruin the show, especially when he is probably the biggest part of the band.
