Or he just has some ideas that may or may not see the light. If he was with Tremo actually working on things then I might believe it, but right now it's just speculation as to what's happening.

I think a little more positive vibe is in order. If you you know the process that Creed uses then you know that Tremonti writes the music and send it to Stapp to put lyrics to the music. They may sit down and work on it together at a later point.

yes exactly dude, glass half full. Gonna be an amazing 12 months I recon. I am hoping within 12 months we will get

1) Creed's next album
2) Scott Stapp - between lust & love double album
3) Tremonti - solo record
4) Myles - Solo record
5) Slash & Myles new album
6) AB'S next album

Tremonti did mention in a recent interview that he was going to get with Scott for new Creed material.

Well in a later Interview, from Mark I can,t recall from where b/c I therefore would have to look it up. You can,t avoid his words that almost became my signature, we will see how it goes ....:rockon: we can,t avoid the Stapp forum although I try to keep it in line, and it be a Job.

I knew they were releasing stuff for a few months now, at first it was said to be a summer 2012 release. So the writing process had already started. They must be almost done with writing part; it's putting it all together that takes so long. Can't wait!

Wind-up probably has stapp by the balls again. Won't let him release his second solo album until Creed goes platinum again probably. I doubt they will, but i can't wait for more Creed. I just hope it isn't like the last album where Stapp uses material from his solo album and tremonti uses alterbridge material.

I'm glad they're writing this together, hopefully we'll get a creed sounding creed album. All though I did like Full Circle. I wonder what else is in store for us.

Will this be full album or an acoustic/b-side thing.

I agree with you that Wind up is a problem. FC had absolutely no marketing behind it. I tweeted to Scott that marketing is a must for the next album. Hell I don't even think half of the fans new they were back together or even that FC existed when it came out. To top it off there not really big on using social media which is the life blood for music and bands now.

I agree with both of you. I think half the fans didn't know they were back together. I would mention the reunion and a common response would be something like, I didn't know they were back together I used to listen to them back in middle school. I'm not sure if these fans really would care that much either way, but I think better marketing would help.

I really really love what we're seeing here. Pretty much all of my old complaints about the band have been proven wrong.


He's saying they are going on tour and will either write the new album on tour or write it before the tour. IMO they should not tour an just write the album and record it. then tour for a year and a half like you did with AB.

I would be willing to bet that the single you are referring to makes it on this album. It would not surprise me if the music they are getting together on to write Oct 10 is finishing older material. If I recall the song that was to come out was supposed to be like older Creed material. Now they are saying there getting back to their roots. I was really hoping for the solo album first from Scott. When he did the interview and played some of the new material, I heard some really good stuff on it. Oh Well, I think Wind Ups the problem.

Yeah, AB goes back on tour on the 21st. So even if they do write all of the songs before then, recording probably won't happen, at the earliest, some time in December because ABs tour ends on November 29th. So if they do get it recorded in Dec, it may be released in Q1 of next year if all things go well.

On another note, if Stapp plans on releasing that solo album this year, now would be the best time or else he'll have to wait until Creeds tour ends next year to do it. Which I think will happen, because I think Wind-up is holding the album hostage.


Tremonti's solo album, he stated will be released in bits at first and then he'll release the entire thing I think maybe digitally.

I am also very interested in what Myles is doing next year with Slash and his own solo album.

Is it possible all of these projects will get released in 2012?

Man, I really want to hear most of the songs from Scott's solo album. Just pull a Dark New Day and leak the god damn thing. four years is long for an album.
