Remember... Daylight Savings Tomorrow!

Just a friendly reminder to flip all your clocks ahead an hour before you go to bed tonight! Otherwise, you'll be an hour late for whatever it is you gots to do on Sunday!

So funny... we had that a week ago over here :D ...and we call it Summer-time (1 hour ahead) and in October it's called Winter-time. (1 hour back)

How do you figure? I just sleep an hour longer and have one less hour to do stuff today :)

RMadd 04-04-2004 04:50 PM

lol
didn't matter, b/c i went to bed @ 2 (which became 3) and slept 'til 1:30, so i'm doing good... i guess i was thinking of years past when my family would get up to go to church as we always do, 8 am service... that's a bitch on one hour less sleep

facelessman 04-06-2004 06:20 PM

this time change is messing me up

Creed_Defaultgirl 04-06-2004 10:03 PM

I fell asleep in the car today......AND I WAS NOT DRIVING! (I'm too young) I was the lucky passenger! I think they should just leave it at daylight savings time all year because I always get so screwed up at this time! I hate it! I want to kill it!

RMadd 04-07-2004 12:16 AM

... or they could just leave it at Standard Time all year long........

I've wondered for a long time why they don't just do that.

i remember having been told why a couple of years ago in school, i think something to do w/ having more daylight for working later or something like that, but i can't remember what... something kinda obscure, perhaps

Higher_Desire 04-08-2004 01:10 AM

I was told an excuse a few years ago that it had something to do with the war, and that it gave the soldiers an hour more of light. I also heard that it was so you could enjoy being outside longer in the summer.
