Creed's next cd???

No one knows anything about it except that it's slated to be released sometime around september 2004, recording is supposedly starting in january 2004

This is something Stapp stated in CreedINK magazine Vol.1 concerning the future sound of the band which could occur on the next album:

"With the harder songs (on the Weathered album), we hit as hard as we did for this record, but I have a feeling we may be dabbling into a little heavier sound as far as the music is concerned, because Mark and I are getting more interested in that. When I told Mark I was more into the heavier vibe, his eyes lit up!:eek: That is a direction that we will go in the future."

Yeah you are correct about the Creedink article, sounds great to me. I LOVE the heavy stuff! I just will have a hard time waiting until 2004, and September at that:crying:

Have you ever noticed that some bands release albums months after each other. Creed makes us wait years before a next album. whats up with that.

I really love the heavy stuff too so I'm hoping for more of it on the next cd. Although it's hard to wait, I'd rather have them take their time and have the songs be like they want them to be. I'm sure it will be worth the wait.:)

My hope is that it is going to be of incredible quailty. You know the old saying "Good things come to those who wait"!:music:

Hmm. I kinda like the slower stuff better. I tend to like slower songs from any band better, though. I don't doubt that Mark's eyes "lit up" with Scott mentioned being into harder stuff, as Mark has said before... "I like my guitar to sound mean."

I like how Creed mixes the hard stuff and the soft stuff on an album. HC is a good example of the combination of soft and hard, with WAWO, Faceless Man, Inside Us All, then they have What If, and Say I and Wrong Way. I love it.

I'd like to hear something progressive and hard.
