since Scott said "he was Creed", maybe they're not sure who should recieve the credit for the 50 million sold. CREED or Scott Stapp?:lolsign:

To the best of my knowledge, Creed has only sold probably 30-40 million worldwide(20-something million U.S.). I've never heard about them having sold 50 million, but I have heard estimates of somewhere between 30 and 40 million. Don't take my word for it, though, as I am not positive on this.

Scott Stapp 50 in the interview that was posted here the other night, but i was told by a school librarian that wikipedia is not reliable and is not confirmed with anything, she also said never to use it for something you have to hand in

so look somewhere else is all i can say

to the best of my knowledge, HC is about 12x platinum (12 mil) in the US, and MOP and Weathered are in the neighborhood of 6x. Greatest Hits isn't anywhere near that, so, in the US alone, that puts them under 30 million. Worldwide, I can't imagine them having sold 20+ million between Australia, Japan, UK, Germany, South America, etc....

Also, Wikipedia isn't a reliable source b/c anyone can edit it. I'm sure it's possible someone disliked Creed enough that they edited 'em from the list themselves, but I'm really not sure if they did sell 50 million total.

30 million is what windup proclaims.

LOL, Stapp recently said 50 million+ (if I heard correctly) in that interview where he accused AB management of sabotage. Lies, lies, lies...

Re: wikipedia...

30 Millions that seem to be more realistic, but hey, this is already very, very much!! Creed only brang 3 album and a greatest album, so this is really quite a lot!
Look at this list http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...bums_%28USA%29
Best selling albums in the USA(I think of all time): Human Clay on 53
This is quite good!
