yep! Mark wrote lyrics and msuic to Torn, he also wrote the lyrics to the chrous of My Sack Of Rice adn the chorus to MOP

Where did your hear that??? On VH1 behind the musci, they showed a page from Scott's journal and the lyrics for torn on written poem style....Scott wrote it while living in an apartment with no heat or electric....Any one else remember this??

I thought mark just wrote the chorus to torn, and that stapp wrote the rest, i didnt know that.
Thats really cool, if its correct.

I was 11 when I wrote it then I sent it to the guys :P

They got it wrong on VH1

Mark wrote Torn (there's an interview somewhere in the Creedpit archives about it)

Mark wrote that song after coming home from a long hard day at work, then finding out his girlfriend (at the time) had cheated on him ( a few times). :( VH1's Behind The Music had a few things switched around about various things. But you are all correct, Mark wrote it.
