Atomship

Ok I just saw these guys in concert with Sevendust and there nothing short than amazing. Every member is amazing and there extremely talented. They put on one hell of a great show too. I met every one of the members and got an autograph on there cd and they were such nice people. So whos seen them in concert or has there cd?

Haven't seen them live nor do I have the CD, but I do like what I've heard of theirs. Granted, all I've heard is Time For People on the Punisher Soundtrack. I'll be seeing them with Sevendust next week. I'm so excited.

Oh man Time For People isn't anything compared to the rest of the tracks on the cd, espically "Mothrn". Please I advise this cd to anyone its spectacular. In my eyes one of the best released so far this year.

Culver declares. “He really understood what we were doing, and that we did not want to sound like the majority of the current music on the radio, but that we wanted to sound like us.”

The end result contains elements of everything from Tool and Nirvana to the Doors and the Cure…but very much retains the unique sound that is Atomship. “This album proves that you don’t have to follow a recipe – be yourself,” says Culver.

With The Crash of ’47, Atomship has definitely staked out its own persona. Prepare to be overwhelmed.

Thats a quote from there website. I pretty much agree. They got a lot of Tool influences but its not a clone its very unique and on its own. Very technical :) :).

I saw them a week ago also, with Sevendust. We only got to see them perform a couple of songs, but I was intrigued. They seemed to have alot of energy and really got into their performance. But I'll get to see them again over Memorial weekend at XFest, looking forward to it!!!

I haven't seen them in concert but I have been hearing them on the radio quite a bit lately and really like what I hear. I'm going to pick up their cd tomorrow.

Hmmm, Tool influences? That could be interesting. I'll have to check them out. Thanks for the info, Mr. Anderson.
