#MyOwnCreed (on mIRC) going on hiatus
 

We're going offline until the Creed boys release something, because now it's taking too many resources to support the few people using the channel.
We're going to close in one week ( 03/22/04), so get your downloads while you can.

This is terrible news! ... especially since I haven't been able to even connect lately. I don't know what's going on with it.

no way, dude! I only have time to d/l stuff on weekends. At least leave the channel on during Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

I don't want to seem selffish and ungrateful but PLEASE don't take my mIRC away? I was just learning and this is all that's keeping me going UNTIL we get new Creed stuff - oh please - give us a little something.... and please not just weekends becuase I usually can't just download on weekends!!??? Also, anyone have the code for invision/mIRC? I need it!

i just started using mIRC, i mostly just download audio, cause my computer is too slow for the videos

someone is using both of my nicks and when I try to enter the channel there is no one there.
I can't figure out what is going on. I might have to uninstall again :(

Stace use another nick to enter...dont use the same nick make another and i think that is going to work..

I think my program has corrupted scripts. I can't even get connected at all. I'm going to move everything out of my folders and try to reinstall. I hope I can remember how to set up again....I've done it enough times I should be able to! lol!

What's the difference between SVCD and VCD? I understand SVCD are .mpg that needs a special software to be runned. is that it?

Coz all those Woodstock files are .mpg...

VCD are mpg.
SVCD are m2v.

SVCD have more quality & brightness and the VCD is normal

The woodstock vids are "SVCD quality picture" but they're really just MPEGs. I put the "SVCD quality" label on them just to indicate that I ripped them from the source DVD in the highest possible quality format that my ripping software would allow, but you don't need any special software to play them.


About mIRC closing down, it's only temporary. Neo hasn't had time to rip anything new, I need to revamp my machine and Stace will be really busy over the next few weeks so we decided it was a good time to take a break. Once the Creed boys release something new, it will increase traffic to the channel and justify the amount of work going into it. But we may very well open up again before that, depending on how things work out.

We really don't want to let down the CreedFeed board members because you guys have put in the most effort trying to figure mIRC out and that's no easy task lol. So please be patient and we hope to be back soon with new stuff to share. :D
