is it just me or does faint's intro (before guitars come in) sound like a Fat Boy Slim song? its that drum beat that sound awfully familiar.... i unno might just be me.

The drum solo intro sounds familar to you because the beat is a beat you learn when you first learn drums. Its not the first, but its one of them.
