See, here's my problem, and stop me if you've heard this one before. I'd take you much more seriously and I'd probably be a whole hell of a lot nicer to you if you were genuinely a fan of the band. But I know that you are not. And I'm not really certain of your purpose posting 545 posts on a Creed fan bulletin board when you are not a Creed fan. I believe you to be disingenuous, and therefore cannot, in good faith, treat you nicely when I know you are not being sincere. I am very nice to my fellow fans who I know to be true fans, as I know their purpose in posting here. I still don't know yours. So that's my story. And I'm sticking with it.

If he truely wants to be forgiven then I am all for it, but I feel that you have to want to change in order to be transformed and I think this is the second thread he has started saying that he wants to be nice to everyone on here, so I guess that is why everyone is skeptical.

Manson had 2 very good albums (Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals), which were very good and original musicwise (well Trent Reznor produced Anrichrist Superstar, so that album is not really Mansons achievement). Just because you wear makeup doesnt mean you're hiding shallowness of music. Tool uses a lot of imagery and bodypain in their live shows and a lot of trippy stuff in videos, yet musically they are awesome.
Oh yeah and Eminem could had been great if he just stopped rapping about himself for once. Cuz skillwise he is on the level with Del Tha Funky Hamosapien, Kool Keith, Last Emperor, Slug from Atmoshphere and other underground heavywheights.

I don't believe Marilyn Manson is an original, if anything he is a copycat. Here are a few examples Kiss, Alice Cooper, King Diamond these are just to name a few that he has copied. He is definately not a leader I'd say more of a follower..

His music has nothing to do with bands you listed. It is his music that sets him apart. Also it is not right to call anyone who has theatrics a copycat. Accoding to your logic most bands are copycats of Beatles.

All I know is Manson to me is a bad influence on the youth of today and he has a crappy voice in my opinion, VERY high pitched and whinney! I have not been real impressed with his so called "music" yeah it is supposed to be "shock rock' but really what is the point, as if there is not enough negativity in the world today! We don't need anymore shock than already exists in daily life as it is!
