Word has surfaced that the ex-wife of Creed's Scott Stapp (news) was arrested earlier this month for aggravated battery with a weapon after she hit the famed rocker in the face with a cell phone during an argument in the bedroom of his Orlando, Florida home. Hillaree Stapp "picked up a cell phone and punched [Scott] with it across his left side of his face" with enough force to cause his head to "jerk to the right," according to a report filed by the Orange Country (Florida) Sheriff's Office.

The incident took place on November 14 as the pair discussed "the continuation of [Hillaree's] detox and psychological exam." Scott told deputies: "The discussion became an argument and that Hillaree stated she was going to get a(n) attorney to get custody of her son and reverse the existing order." The ex-couple have a 3-year-son together, Jagger.

The musician also alleged that at one point Hillaree also yelled, "I f--ked four guys in your bed while you were gone."

While Scott Stapp refused medical treatment, he intended to press charges, the report reads. Meanwhile, his personal assistant, Diana Ivey, who was present at the scene and called 911 at his request, told authorities that "she would testify to what she saw."

Scott Stapp, speaking through a spokesperson for his record label, Wind-Up, gave the following statement: "All I have ever wanted since my son was born is to give him love and protect him from harm. There is a reason why I have been divorced for three years and have sole custody of our son. Despite my pleas to Hillaree to make every decision with Jagger's well-being in mind, she has chosen otherwise. I pray Hillaree gets all the help she needs mentally and emotionally."
