Houston show Review
I know some of you people on here are saying the Stapp is crap but that can't be further from the truth. I don't know anyone that can work a crowd like Stapp can, 16,000 people were feeding off his energy and vice versa. Sure Stapp isn't what he used to be, but the passion that he brings to front a bad ass rock band is amazing. I see people over at ABB.net saying Stapp is horrible, the songs are too fast...Well when you experience a LIVE show like Creed you don't think about all the shit, you live for the moment and the moment was Creed. Creed puts on the most amazing shows I have ever seen. If you guys also didnt see, Creed and EROCK were rewarded plaques for breaking the world record for the amount of cameras used in a concert after the show. Overall it was an amazing night!

Re: Houston show Review
Staind was good...really good, actually.
Creed was about what I was expecting. 4/5 of Creed was awesome as usual. 1/5 of the band sucked pretty hardcore.....looking forward to the next Alter Bridge CD. |

Re: Houston show Review
Agreed, there are some massive AB fan boys there. People are getting stressy because the Creed DVD comes out in a month and half when we've waited 10 months for the AB DVD. Seriously, WTF? |

Re: Houston show Review
People are right that Stapp cannot sing like he used to, however it's time to accept that and move on. The Houston show was great. The older songs sounded nothing like they did in 1998 and 1999 but who cares? Stapp has adjusted, the band has adjusted, let's have some fun and enjoy. It's not that Stapp sounded bad, he just sounded different and I think people just have a hard time accepting change.
Can't wait for the DVD to be released!

I really enjoyed the show. Stapp's voice did sound a little rough on Overcome but it got better the more songs he sung. Overall it was a great show!

Re: Houston show Review
Let's not kid ourselves. I'm a bigger Stapp fanboy then most, and I can tell you that last night's performance was probably the worst of the entire tour.
Not just Stapp, but the whole band missed a few marks. Overall, sure, it was another great live show. If you were there... At home, it made me want to cry. Stapp sounded very solid a week ago in some videos from YouTube, but last night was horrible. Maybe he can recover with some time off. I think he's over strained. |

Re: Houston show Review
i thought it was funny how the band was ending on with arms wide open and stapp just kept on singing and getting the crowd into it.i had to go outto my car after the show and pop in some alter bridge. to hear them with a guy who can really sing. i just dont understand though i saw them back in 97 and 99 and scott sounded great . i also preordered full circle. i love the new creed as well.

Re: Houston show Review
One post says 'stapp sounded better than he did all tour' than another says 'he was the worst he's ever been'. Anyone else really tired of hearing about this?

Re: Houston show Review
Yeah, but you gotta admit, anyone who has seen Creed in the past would never say Stapp sounds better than ever. If so, they are tone deaf.

Yeah, I'm just glad they got back together. I saw them in ATL and it was great. I'll take Stapp at his "worst" over no Stapp at all. |

Re: Houston show Review
I thought on the first three songs stapp was fucking terrible. Then they played Never Die and his voice was pretty good. Then they played Torn and from that point on he slayed it! Me and my cousin watched it and found ourselves joking about how bad he was, then he shoved our foots in our mouths. It must have just taken him a little while to get used to it. His and Mark's little jam during What If was amazing!
