I believe we're looking at the April 30-May 2 weekend, Jen. Teri and a few others are thinking of going Thursday to Sunday. As long as nobody bumps me, I might go Monday to Monday like you.

I checked with a travel agent today, airfare is high and so is the hotel rate, so it's time to start pinching pennies and putting some money away for this trip. I wanna be able to go and enjoy myself without being on a $10/day budget. Like that would work in Vegas. :lol:

High? Usually they have great deals for Vegas! Hmm.... "I am going through AAA, that is where I went through for Orlando and they did a great job! I don't want to have a shitty budget either, I am going to live it up and have fun. I know I will be getting another SUV for sure seeing I will be sightseeing for a week!

But I'm the same way too!! For a long week-end, I pack for a month!! Gotta have all avenues covered for clothing!!

Especially in Vegas!! Can get pretty warm there in April and pretty chilly at night!!

Well the travel agent I talked to had quoted me prices based on a single, since I'll be traveling out there Thurs-Sun by myself. I'm still hoping Linda can make the trip, but the prices for a single were not a penny under $900 for air/transfers/hotel. The air I've priced myself is around $434 and the cheapest hotel rate I found was the Stardust at $75/night. Not the best place to stay, it's one of the older places. The standard rate for most other places, Harrahs, Treasure Island, Ballys, etc. as $125-$169/night. The good package deals seem to be based on 2 people traveling. Also, I've heard late April is a big convention time out there. We'll see I guess. I'm going, come hell or high water.

ps..........Just for grins I asked her to check the Hard Rock Hotel, they had no vacancies for Thurs-Sun.

Thanks for the info, Teri. I'll be pinching my pennies and asking Santa for some traveling money for Christmas, LOL. I don't want to miss this trip!!

All I have to say is watch out, I am tearing up that damn town!!! That sucks about the Hard Rock hotel, I was wanting to stay there! I want to stay in a decent place, so I guess we need to really start looking hugh? This is going to be a trip for me to celebrate and let loose, I don't want to skimp too much!
