Sleepless Night

Here's another one I wrote two or three weeks ago. I have no idea where it came from, it doesn't have much personal meaning to me. Strange, cuz I usualy don't write that way, but oh well. Tell me if it's bad or good, and please don't lie! Just tell the truth!

Sleeps been lost again
up late afraid of the dreams
'cause when they come
no one hears the screams
these dreams, oh these screams
tell the story, not the life
how this ended behind his knife
the love she gave, and that he broke
through her hair his hands have stroke
many a day, many a night
he left her someone else in sight
she lives, oh she lives her life
No more than a small white lie
she wants him, she needs him now
but he has left her, depends on her no longer
soon she packs, heads out the door
but he drags her back in
she is for sure, he'll never win
fists she threw, put up a good fight
she'd better keep it up all through that night
he bags his things, he brings her along
a stroll in the country, where she didn't belong
she'd seen it coming, all in her dreams
she prays to God, she asks what it means
she knows too much
with her around he can't come clean
so this is his way out
he grabs her by her hair
not that kind gentle stroke she'd knew before
his love has left, her wrists now bleed
instead of a goodnight kiss, she gets death
now the days go by, he sleeps in a cell
the everhaunting memory has never left
she no more has dreams, for it is he
he stares into the dark empty space
sleeps not so easy these days
he is unforgiven, for all of his ways
he knows his day has come
violent stares, awaits his end
these here changes help them mend
