No, I don't want to think of that in many ways! I am a hardcore male and such inuendo freighten me. But anyway, the major thing is that the trend toward the "packaged" album be abandoned. I just fear that Creed is going to enter into a period of rock-teenyboberism. I hope not... I know what Creed is really all about, and it's not pop muzak.

What the heck does inuendo mean?
Oh that's nice, I am a female, how old are you? Hmm you rekon? I have to disagree with you on that one. I think the reason that Weathered had that poppy-bop feeling to it, was because they were under a deal of stress to get the album done, they rused it a little, so that had that pop affect. But this time I have to say because they will have so much more time to get this album "perfect", it will be no way near poppy. It won't even have that feeling to it. I don't even think they will enter into that world, because it is just not their style.

I wouldn't say Weathered had a "poppy-bob" feeling at all... heh, but in terms of hard rock... well you all know what I'm trying to say. I don't think that Creed is "pop" music at all -- even Weathered. However, I have noticed a few more "teeny-boper" girls at Creed concerts. I personally to not like that... that's not supposed to be Creed's fanbase! But anyway, innuendo means "suggestive content." Haven't you ever heard the term "sexual innuendo?" It's quite pervasive in Bond films. Oh btw I'm 23.

Oh, i'm 14, and no I haven't heard of sexual innuendo.
How interesting...I don't know how to explain myself, (obviously lol) But alot of people are saying on this board that Weathered was rushed, some are saying that it kinda had a little poppy feeling to it, I tend to agree half to both of those. Because Weathered was rushed. I don't believe that their next album will be anything like Weathered, well one thing, diverse, I think they might just go for that again. And the boppy girls probably just go there to see Stapp

I want it to be deep lyrics, lots of guitar riffs from mark and some solos, heavier like back in MOP days. I am in the mood for great music from them. I just don't want it to be a rushed album, give it to us from the heart, NOT from Wind-up!

I don't think they will go back to My Own Prison. Afther Weathered Creed has been taked on a "HIGHER" level. I think it will be something like the pain of MOP, the guitars from Human Clay and the deep from Weathered. Songs like "Hide" for example. I really look forwads for the new album...Just ask my friends!
Go Creed!

That is YOUR interpretation of the lyrics, I personally think they have a "good thing going" because they are one of the only ROCK bands that actually write something with "substance" that is what attracted me to them. Anyone can write cheesy corny songs that get radio play that speak to the "younger generation" but Creed well..... thier lyrics speak to all ages of people the concerts prove that!

I can see where you're coming from on that. Peronally I don't really have a specific desire for them to write someting more funny, but it would be interesting. Creed have always taken their music very seriously... Mark and Scott do joke around a lot... who knows, they might do something like that on the next CD.

I agree with you, but come on, Creed's music is quite serious. I can't think of a track that's "funny" or the like. I mean, it's not a big deal to me since I have no specific desire to hear a "funny song", but at least recognize that Lechium's comment about "serious songs" is correct.

I think their next album will feature a version of WAWO with Flip singing it! :P

I agree with you, Jen. Some "substance" to the lyrics is what drew me to them to begin with as well.

First off you can have substance and be lighthearted at the same time. Primus, for example, has a lot of political satire -- funnyish songs with pretty serious message. Also album has say 12 tracks. If 1 or 2 are just feel good tracks, it doesnt undermind the whole album, but rather gives it more diverse feeling. You gotta ease up sometimes. I mean your music reflects you as a person, and I dont think they're all uber serious guys 24/7.
