I used to drink heaps of Coke too, but I hardly touch it now that I know what it can do to my system! Apparently it can dissolve a t-bone steak in a few days, and mechanics use it to clean car engines. Ewwww!

I crave it, it's crazy. I have been trying to drink more iced tea instead, but cokes are so much more convenient. It's awful, too because I could save so much money if I could stop. I stopped while I was pregnant so it may not be as hard as I think. Thanks!

I used to be a HUGE pop drinker...Now I can't stand the stuff, I really only drink water and I don't miss pop at all! I will occationally have a Minute Maid light Lemon-ade, or a diet A & W root beer...but I gotta have my water!!

I got so used to drinking water that I almost never drink anything else. Coffee in the a.m. water all day. The only time I usually drink soda is if I eat a pizza out. Even at home if I have pizza I have water. There's something about being out eating pizza that I have to have a slice and a Coke.

Of course, there's always Frozen Mudslides.

Sounds like me... at work: Coffee (Cafe Vienna) in the morning, water all day, a Slushy for lunch and for a cocktail it would be Diablo, but those Mudslides are pretty tasty too, but I can't have them a whole lot (chocolate) (diet, ya know) only on special occasions with special friends!!

I NEVER drink water. I can't stand it, I may need to try something flavored. I do notice when I drink water, I feel a lot better, it's like my body craves it. Something about the bland taste that makes me not want it though.

Hotforscott, you could try putting a little lemon slice in it, or a dash of cranberry juice. It gives it just a little bit of flavor. It really makes a difference for me. Water is soooooooo good for you. It helps keep you hydrated, of course, but if you drink a lot of it, it also help keep your skin nice. I notice a big difference if I don't have enough water.

Yer welcome...Also, if fresh lemon isn't available, I put a dash or two of lemon juice in it instead...I'm drinking that right now, as a matter of fact, after a nice long walk. I admit to being a total diet Pepsi freak, though...I've read that for every caffeinated drink you consume, you need two glasses of water to rehydrate. Caffeine does dry you out.

i have to go to the grocery store today anyway, I will see what I can find. Does flavored water do the same for you as regular water or is it not the same?

Flavored water is good, too, but I'm too cheap to buy it . I don't like the carbonated ones, though. They have non-carbonated ones that are pretty good.

I used to drink tons of pop, but now I can't have corn syrup so I drink a lot of water.
