I dunno... have you noticed it can be just a game???

People who run the best Creed sites (pit, fanatic, feed) didn't say a word if it's true or not... they all got contacted first about the creed quest... their behaviour is kinda weird: they don't say yes or no....

people who know something aren't allowed to talk...

and if I recall, Creed and Wind-Up contract obligations says the the next album would be their last one. Then creed would move label or renew the deal.

well... what Mark did say is... Creed won't be anymore the way we know it now... that's what he said. Breaking up came from "fans"... what if Brian is joining the band again? Creed will be different from what we know now! that would be GOOD! :P
