I love candles too. I have quite a few Yankee Candles and Party Lite candles that I bought when people have had candle parties. I like them because they burn really clean and don't leave the candle holder or jar black.

Some of my favorite scents are lemon, grape, apple, chocolate and pine. That raspberry sorbet candle sounds great, Teri. I love anything with raspberries.

Your new candle sounds nice Teri. How sweet of your hubby to get one for you. Daniel got me the grossest smelling candle at Christmas Time. He stuck it in with all my gifts, it was like Pine Tree or something. That one will have to be just for looks and never burned because it reeks. It is very pretty though.

Speaking of sorbet, I could really eat some right now. TCBY has the best Keylime Sorbet.

Daniel may be making a trip for some sorbet here in a minute, LOL.

Oh MY GOD Carrie, that is so funny. Don bought me a Yankee Candle one year for Christmas and it was Pine Tree, it was just awful!! I burned it in the garage because we had a really foul smell in the garage. After that it was a foul smelling pine scented garage. He's learned from his mistakes since then.

LMAO, we have a lot of things in common huh? Pine Tree candles, pregnant nuns, chicken & dumplins, the list goes on and on.

Can't wait to meet you in Orlando!

Hopefully, Daniel will learn from the candle experience

Ok I have to tell this story because it's so appropriate right now. I got into the car for the first time in 2 weeks (my hubby had it at the base). So I get into it and I immediately think "Damn, what's that awful smell?". So I look around to see if there are smelly old socks or some sort of rotting hamburger that he threw in the back of the car and forgot about. It wasn't until I started backing out of my driveway looking out my rear-view mirror when I saw it.
He had purchased a "Yankee Candle" car air freshener that you hang from the rear-view mirror. Guess what scent it is. Balsam Fir!
EWWWWWWW. It is currently sitting quietly in my glove compartment stinking up that box.

LOL Teri, that is funny. You see I love woodsy smelling candles, like "Christmas Wreath" and "Bayberry" of Yankee. There are some pine scents I do not like though, they must be mild!

Another candle freak here! My favourite scent is vanilla, and I mostly have elaborate candle holders that I put tealight candles in. I have some Feng Shui tealight candles that don't give off much of a scent, but they are supposed to bring harmony or peace or something.

My mum collects candles and has HEAPS. She even has two candles that are about a foot tall, and look like china. She never burns her good candles, but only boring crappy ones.
