Are we allowed to share links to these downloads on here? I may regret requesting this after I hear the songs...

Re: Home and Zero
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Jared can PM us a link. Or even e-mail a link. Looking forward to hearing Home, it has a groovilicous tone to it.

Re: Home and Zero
They're pretty good, in fact better than some weaker songs on the album. Just can't believe how I wrong I was to think that when they formed AB it was to do something that was heavier than Creed.

Re: Home and Zero
It is a heavier band. But nowhere near as much as some people think they are.

Re: Home and Zero
Yeah. Infact, AlterBridge wasn't meant to be heavy. Rather it was meant to be more artistically expressive. More Guitars, More Solos, More unorthodox riff patterns, lyrically Darker and Dirty. As for Home and Zero, I am really looking forward to hearing them when they come out.

Re: Home and Zero
Here are the lyrics for Zero & Home... I think they're good.
Zero - Now there is a light in the dark some will say There is a grace up high There is a beauty that some can behold Not I Not I There is a power that's felt from the shore There is a force that won't break But all of these things to me are no more I've changed I've changed What in the hell have you done? Cast aside all that you love The sorrows you'll never outrun Zero Nothing for you is ever good enough Zero Nothing makes you whole How many times have you felt all alone How many tears have you cried Called out in vein for a god to behold Inside Inside How many fires you let die in your heart How many storm's must you face Left out to fight for yourself in the cold No faith No faith So nothing to lean on this time Nothing is left to decide All that you've known you'll deny Zero Nothing for you is ever good enough Zero Nothing makes you whole Zero Nothing for you is ever good enough Zero Nothing makes you whole Burnt out Surrender you can't take no more And just cry out Surrender your faith is no more What in the hell have you done? Cast aside all that you loved The sorrows you'll never outrun Just look at what you have become Zero Nothing for you is ever good enough Zero Nothing makes you whole Zero Nothing for you is ever good enough Zero Nothing makes you whole Home - Hope The only thing that we have left to hold In a world gone mad There's nowhere left to go Where nothing lasts there's permanence I know Is there something I can say? To bring back what once remained Where is all that we let go? Where is home? Doubt From inside I hear it calling out Tearing at the truth that must be found In the end it only brings me down Is there something I can say? To bring back what once remained Where is all that we let go? Where is home? If you need a reason A reason tonight To cast every doubt From you heart from your mind Look to tomorrow and maybe you'll find Something more Something more Is there something I can say? To bring back what once remained Where is all that we let go? Where is home?

Re: Home and Zero
I guess you're right, although I don't think they ever directly said either way. I don't think it's lyrically darker or dirty (I assume you mean grungy not offensive). I really like the lyrics for Zero. |

Re: Home and Zero
Even so it seems to be the case. I wish Mark's vocals weren't so low in the mix, he sounds really good in the video. |

Re: Home and Zero
oh he just shy that always happens when one is devoted to one INSTRUMEANT, He Will Get Better, As He Uses His Voice, proabley a great singer indeed deep artists always have the need to expand their talents, i know its already been done thanks to Mr Big And Jackeyl , But i wanna expand mine To Playing The Chainsaw, on some bluesy tunes as well,
