I've met no celebrities, but I will next time LIVE comes to town!!!
I've seen a couple of local people from a distance, and one football player nearly knocked me into traffic. I've waved to Brett Lee!!! Oh, and I saw Take That at our airport in 1994.

I met several bands... most memorable were Nickelback, 3 Doors Down, and The Smashing Pumpkins... Billy Corgan had to have been the nicest musician I have ever met, and the most interesting!

Take that Rocks Bec. I liked that one song, how did it go?
I want you back or something like that. Also, Steve, I love all of those bands. How cool to have gotten to meet them!!!!!!

I was so into them when I was 14. Yeah, the one you're thinking of is Back For Good. I don't think you got much of them in America.....? I was devastated when they broke up. At least Robbie is making a name for himself now.

Yeah, that's it, back for good. I think I had the CD. I was about 16 or 17 when that song was out, so it was about the same time, I think. They were pretty much a one hit wonder here. Is Robbie the lead singer, I don't guess i know what he is doing now.

No, Gary was the lead singer. He had a few songs out just after they broke up but now I think he's writing for other artists. Robbie has had a few hits out: Rock DJ, Angels, that duet with Nicole Kidman and Feel (someone has this song in their sig). Maybe you haven't heard much of him in the states.

I met Jay Leno from the tonight show, he is a real down to earth guy i live in the same area in MASS that he is from, when his mom was alive he used to come home on holidays and on one fourth of july my cusin was in line to get his propane filled at the gas station, well he heard this guy in back of him complaining to himself about the line, he turned to find Jay Leno complaining about being a big shot and still having your mom sending you to do errons, he was only kidding of course he explained he just wanted to get the crowd smiling, and i met him later at his book signing

I was in line in the cafeteria at work today and I was standing next to former Miss America, Kate Shindle. She's in a casino production show they are doing based on a bunch of Broadway shows and she apparently eats in our employee cafeteria.

The girls were more impressed tonight with "Peter Pan" than they were with Mommy being next to Miss America. I didn't get her autograph though, we both had trays full of food and were on our respective lunch breaks.
