No, you're exactly right. I work there, and trust me, the slots and table games aren't going anywhere. They'll still be there when the weather is sunny and nice. No reason to travel out on such a snowy day. Very sad though.

On a lighter note, isn't it really funny how this thread started out as Scott Stapp dating????? and now we're just about into a chat about the snow, etc. It has kinda been like a chat, only it takes so freakin' long to go back and forth, LOL!

Yeah, being in Hawaii with Scott would be nice about now, huh?

With 8" of snow here? I'd rather be anywhere with Scott, but Hawaii would be especially nice. The beaches of Maui, can't beat 'em! We were having lunch one afternoon when we were there several years ago (I was pregnant with Jenn, so it was probably almost 6 years ago) and we were having lunch by the pool and we saw whales breeching off the coast. It was incredible. We had been on a whale watching cruise the day before and saw a ton of them. But there, sitting by the pool, right by the beach, to see them off the coast breeching, it was an amazing thing. I love Hawaii!

That sounds so great, Teri. I've never been to Hawaii but it's definitely a place I want to visit. I love whales too, that must have been so cool to see so many of them close up. What a great vacation!!

And I'm with you, I'd be willing to go anwhere with Scott too!!

Hawaii is next on my list for vacation!!!! After going to Alaska this last year it will take awhile for me to save up though!

Hey maybe I will plan it when Scott is there, he seems to go every February!:idea:

how do we know this or that he is in Hawaii??

I was in Hawaii on my honeymoon. It was SOO beautiful. Getting there was awful though. Long flight ... and I HATE to fly!

You're right about the flight being a bitch, creedlvr. I made the flight when I was almost 5 mos. pregnant with my oldest and I have no idea how I made it 11 hours on a plane without losing my mind. My butt was so numb, even with getting up and walking around very often. I didn't even want to sit down to lunch or dinner once we were there.

We have it on good authority from insiders that Scott was in Hawaii and that he is dating. Whether or not his "date" was with him in Hawaii is unclear, but the rest is pretty accurate.

From the time we left our house to the time we actually walked into our hotel room, it took us 22 hours to get there. Between getting picked up to go to the airport, connecting flights, picking up a rental car and everthing else, I walked in and crashed until the next morning. We got there pretty early in the evening too, but I just had to sleep! Plus ... we left at 4am after we got home from our wedding reception at 1am. So we never slept. I was literally awake for about 48 hours counting the day of the wedding. I'm sure that made the travel that much worse, but it made be NEVER want to travel that far again!

Anyway, it was worth the trip. Too bad Scott wasn't there then! Although, I sort of don't think my husband would be all too keen on me following around Scott Stapp on our honeymoon!

Thanks for assuring me this is "credible" information. I am one of those people that is doubtful of things if I don't know where the information came from.
