I am a huge Metallica fan.
My favourite albums from them are Ride The Lightning, Master Of Puppets, And Justice For All. Those three are so great, I can't choose my absolute favourite. Talk about having an open mind!!!! It is obvious you don't. Why is it that you have to be a "current musician" to have an opinion on music? I just stated that I don't like St. Anger, I NEVER said it wasn't "new" or "breakthrough" music. Just because I am not in a "band" does not mean I am ignorant in this matter! So because someone does not like something that means that they don't know anything about it? Boy if that was the fact, this world would be in SERIOUS trouble!

I'm a New BIG fan...i just got my 1st 'Tallica CD the other day... I was debating on what to get...i wanted to get Ride The Lightning cuz it has Call on The K'tulu (i think...) but i didnt have enough money...so i got ReLOAD

Ahhhh...but there are NO real bad Metallica Cd's...no are there. My favs are the live ones.... S&M and Binge and Purge. They are so amazing live. Can't wait to see them again!

From a musicians point of view, being one since i was 5 (started out a singer, now guitar player), St. Anger sucks instrumentally and lyrically. The lyrics looks like he wrote them while he was stoned out of his mind. The guitar is lazy guitar. Down tuning that far just to constantly downpick. Its pop-punk with curse words here and there, and louder. Thats my opinion, I don't want to debate it.
