once again i agree with kerri....lol. pearl jam would easily be a more successful touring band than say nickelback or good charlotte and yet if one listened to the radio only, one would think pearl jam didn't exist anymore. as for their lyrics the political commentaries dont' really bother me even if politically i'm not exactly on the same page as ed. binaural suffered cause the production by tchad blake IMO was crappy (yes jango i know what a binaural is and why they did it) and riot act isn't as consistent as previous offerings. ten is not pj's best album though, the dave a days (vs and vitalogy) or the jack irons days (no code and yield) probably produced the best albums.
