Minutes to midnight (Linkin Park)
So what do you all think of the New Linkin Park?
I have actually had a copy of this for over a week now. Its interesting and it is for sure a break from the linkin park of old. I need to listen to it a few more times before I will give a full review though. what does every one else think?

I like the fact that they were willing to go in a new direction. I think taking the rapping out and having mostly just one singer was a great idea. The album is without doubt thier best in my opinion.

I'm loving the song "Leave Out All The Rest".
None of their songs remind me of creed

Re: Minutes to midnight (Linkin Park)
I've heard the singles, and I'm not TOO impressed, but I can't say they SUCK.
LOL @ RalphyS. I don't think anyone's going to remind me of Creed, though. "What I've Done" is okay. I still like their old, tried-and-true rap-rock formula, though.

Re: Minutes to midnight (Linkin Park)
I bought the CD last week, and it's great. They could have stuck with their old habit of no profanity, but it was just three songs, so hey whatever. I really like What I've Done, it sounds really different from anything they've done in the past, but so does the whole CD. My favorites probably have to be What I've Done, Shadow Of The Day, No More Sorrow, Leave Out All The Rest and Valentines Day. I still like their old rap/rock formula just a bit better, but this new sound is going in the right direction and I like it.

Re: Minutes to midnight (Linkin Park)
Haven't listened to it yet, but I do enjoy the lead single, What I've Done. At least until all the radio stations play it non-stop for the next 12 weeks, which is pretty much what happened w/ In the End, Numb, and others in the past (which, in turn made me hate them for awhile). But I guess I'm willing to give them a 2nd (or 4th) chance.
Sadly, their first album came out in '00. This is only their 3rd studio album. I'm annoyed by the fact that they've seen fit to release 3 other shitty albums in between (Reanimation, Live in Texas, and Collision Course). Nothing especially original, yet it made them seem like they were busy doing stuff....
