Scott had the accident in April and if they they picked up touring in June, that's not five months, and I tend to be math-challenged. I thought they started in July, but I may be wrong about that.

Even if you count the laryngitis, that's a couple of more weeks. That's three to FOUR months, tops. The point is that they were on schedule to tour all that time. I doubt he was writing lyrics while doing physical therapy after the accident.

With regard to your comments on &nbsp;"thinking too much" when writing, you are way off base. Rewriting and editing is a big part of most bands' writing process. It's a collaboration. Layne Staley and Jerry Cantrell of Alice In Chains talked about it at length in an interview years ago. &nbsp;

If you are going to make statements, BACK THEM UP with some sort of facts.

Ok, I'm going to have my say for what it's worth. The Weathered tour officially kicked off in January. Mark's mom passed away in early February. They took off two weeks and began touring again, making up those two weeks worth of dates and the remaining tour schedule. Scott had his accident in April. The tour picked up again in July and aside from the laryngitis, has been going full speed ahead. So not only do they have the scheduled dates to keep, but the make up dates and the dates that they keep adding to the tour schedule. How DARE you call us idiots?You, sir, may consider yourself a fan. But I, for one, don't consider someone so impatient for the next album to come out that they start a thread called "Why is this album taking so long?" a true fan. You may like their music, but if you were a true fan, you'd cut these guys some slack, take a good hard look in the mirror and sit the hell down and be patient like the rest of us. If you won't give US some respect, please give the band members some.

Yeah, well, maybe they should get off the stupid tour. There's no reason to go around doing a bunch of concerts, when they only have three albums worth of music and Scott is sick. I can't go to the concerts anyway, cause i don't have the $$$$, and the closest they ever get to me is Chicago, and that's in the next state. I want more music. Period.

I am sure you are attracted to Creed's music because they are the best Rock band around, but to display your thoughts in the way you have chosen, lets us know that you are not a true fan, true fans understand what the band goes through, and they have been through A LOT. Don't get angry because you are broke and cannot afford to go to a concert, or because it's too far away, and if you can't respect the guys and give them the time they need to make an album w/o harrasing them by calling their tour "stupid", then SHUT UP and save your money and maybe by the time it comes out, you will have enough!!!!!!!

OMG, NEVER, EVER challenge whether or not I am a true Creed fan, because I am one of the biggest, and my friends from all the other Creed chat groups I belong to and the people on the vh1 board, who all followed under the petition I organized(which put the OLB video in #1 on the top twenty countdown) can testify to that. I am a follower, a supporter, and a Creeder. Creed IS the best band in the world, and I think they need to make more music. I displayed my opinions the same as everyone else on this board displays there's.

Hm, I wonder if you would still be making that statement if you were older, had the money and the means to get to a concert? If you got Creed tickets for Christmas along with the promise of transportation to and from the show, would you still think they should "get off the stupid tour"? And does a band need to have more than 3 albums worth of music before the tour becomes non-stupid? I don't doubt that you are a big Creed fan, but stop whining and making it bad for others.
