Something kinda funny

I was watching the news today, and Ozzfest is supposed to be here in Washington (near Auburn) tonight, and they said that "due to a conflict, Ozzy Osbourne, creator of and headliner of Ozzfest, will NOT be in appearance."

Kind of more of an ironic funny insead of a ha ha funny that Ozzy won't be at Ozzfest, his own creation.

Wouldn't one of us hate it if we went to a Creed concert and they announced, "Uhh...sorry but Creed won't be here this evening, but you can still here the opening acts!"

I would go insane!!!

I read on the Ozzfest web-site that Ozzy has been plagued by laryngitis, this is what the site said: JULY 10

After struggling through the last 1/2 hour of his two hour performance in San Francisco, Ozzy Osbourne was examined by his personal physician and was diagnosed with having severe laryngitis. Ozzy's doctor has ordered him to rest his vocal cords for the next few days. This forced Ozzy to sit out of his headlining performance at Ozzfest Marysville, CA . However, the show went ahead as planned with Korn, Marilyn Manson, Disturbed and Chevelle performing on the main stage. Ozzy's doctor feels positive that his condition will improve with a few days rest, and Ozzy is looking forward to re-joining Ozzfest at its next stop in Seattle, WA on Saturday, July 12.

I wonder if he tried to sing last nite and re-aggravated his voice??

Well, I've kinda been there, done that...I flew from Minnesota to Las Vegas, drove 5 1/2 hours from Vegas to Phoenix to see Creed last October, to be told the show was cancelled!! I think that might be worse!! I thought I was gonna lose it when they said the show was postponed!! But my first concern was for Scott, if he ever wrecked his voice and couldn't sing anymore....I'd just DIE!!!!!!!!

I can't imagine not having Creed in my music world..Although I like Ozzy enough, I'm mainly going to Ozzfest for Disturbed and Korn...soooooooo, if that was to give one of them a longer set, I could handle that....sorry Ozzy!!

Man, I would LOVE to see Chevelle! I do hope Ozzy gets better soon, though

WOW!!

That surprises me (I don't know why?) I didn't know you were a fan of theirs!! Geez, you think you know someone!! lol....I saw Chevelle with Disturbed back in May and they were REALLY GOOD!! I guess I keep forgetting who's all going to be there!! I'm soo focused on seeing Disturbed again, that I keep forgetting the rest...I'm bad!!

LOL! I even picked up Chevelle's first CD after I bought and got hooked on Wonder What's next. I think they have kind of Tool sound to them. Their story is really cool, too. They are all brothers, I think.

My friend that came with Anna and I to the concert had never heard Chevelle b4 that night....see she's Anna's step-mom and I've been blamed for corrupting her with my (awesome taste in..lol) music...but anywho, she went out the next day and bought Chevelle's cd...she fell for them that night!!

That would suck to buy a really expensive ticket to Ozzfest and then not have the main guy show up! I would demand a refund! My brother went last week to it and he said it was awesome and he really liked Disturbed!

I guess I wouldn't be all that upset, like I said earlier, that would give either Korn or Disturbed (hopefully not Manson) more of the show...I like Ozzy, but I like Disturbed and Korn more!! I've seen Disturbed twice b4 and they totally ROCK!! I'm just as obsessed with them as I am with Creed, Godsmack and Tool!!!!!!!
