Big in 2002 Awards! - Page 3

No, they were scheduled to present an award and receive their own. The presentation was next to nothing, just the announcer talking while pictures of the nominee flashed on the screen, then he said "And the winner was..." and then they flashed to a shot of Creed on stage and Flip saying "Paul McCartney". Paul was on tape accepting it. So we never got to see any of Creed presenting the award.

Ok for those of you who missed it, Creed won, Flip gave the thank you speech, Scott told us all to love one another. I feel like crap and I'm going to bed. Good night all.

i know, that pissed me off too (presentation deal). i just saw them get the award, i thought they sounded good. many more albums...always good to hear. scott seems to be so sincere. i just love him and his choice of words. i wish they were gonna perform.

very good point. i was happy to see them. i think they are awesome and cannot wait for the next album. they so deserved that award. when scott smiled at the fan who screamed. i sooo wished i was her. i could get lost in his eyes. ahhh, i am going to bed with thoughts of stapp. sweet dreams everyone.
