I don't know y, but when I see him now, the haircut reminds me of when he was at the Chicago show with Creed, he looks like that again, lmao!!! He doesn't look right to me, lol! Yes, the album, I will be gettin it!

Not too shabby. Yeah, his haircut surprised me, but the music so far sounds pretty good. It sounds like it could be a noticeable departure from the well-worn Creed sound, but still keeping the basic hard rock feel intact.
When the guitarist said that the album was a progression, I'm sure that he meant that it was a progression over The Great Divide. But that gives me an idea. We've been debating over what new directions Scott could take. Well, he could do a heavy progressive rock album, sort of like Pink Floyd but heavier, or Tool or A Perfect Circle. Regardless, this sounds like it's going to be pretty cool. |

Thanks for the link to the video. I liked meeting the band, and Stapp is good at being the host for the event. Can't wait to hear more of the songs, maybe the first single will be released soon.

I have a feeling that the new Stapp CD is going to surprise people, just as the new AB CD is leaps and bounds ahead of the first one. It seems like both are starting to find their post-Creed niche.

Am I the only one who thinks his new haircut makes him look a tadbit like the post-Soundgarden Chris Cornell?

The two newest videos impressed me quite a bit. It does look like Alter Bridge and Scott Stapp are, indeed, finding their post-Creed niche. Definitely a Chris Cornell transition in terms of look lol.

Actually, there are quite a few hard rock/metal stars who have little hair, or are completely bald. |

Re: Stapps Youtube page... with latest vid blogs.
I LOL'ED!!!! That hair had me on the floor before I even saw all the Christmas shenanigans [those guys are all nuts...nuts, I tell ya]. By the end of the vid I'd gotten used to it, though. He doesn't look so bad without the hair, but I will be mourning it [can't help that, we're talking years of obsession being undone here....]. Well, that was a teaser..."the best is yet to come in '08"...I can't wait to see what they come up with to back up that statement.
