I always have to be secure and closed up when I'm home alone, because I always seem to get the fear that someone is watching me, also. It's a scary feeling, it's so stupid because it's so unlikley for that to happen, but I get really really paranoid.

Yeah, I get that way sometimes too. Like whenever I am home alone and I'm sitting at the computer. I have to close my door because my back faces the door.

Oh that sucks, having your back to the door. It's strange, I have been like that for a little while. But, if I have doors closed, curtians closed, at night, then I am sweet. This is only when I am home alone, when my family is at home then it's okay.

Exactly! When my parents are home, I don't have a problem, it's just when I'm alone especially at night. I don't live in a bad neighborhood or anything, but two nights ago my mom woke up to our neighbors dog barking and she saw some guy walking around outside the house across ou street at 2:30a.m. It was kind of creepy.

I have a old ugly, nasty, perverted guy that lives next door. It wouldn't surprise me if he's a child molester, but I was tanning one day in my back yard, and I got on the side of our shed that way he couldn't see me and my mom, well I got up to do something, and unfortunatly he came by in the car. GGGRRRRR, they have this little whistle horn thing on it, and he blew it. Oh, it makes me so mad! I blame myself for not atleast putting a shirt over my bathing suit. Every time I'm outside and he is in the car with that whistle, he honks it. It's so freaking nasty. When I'm home alone, I always think he's going to come to the door for something. I hate this town. I want to live out in the country, where I can do what the crap I want without anyone knowing, or even giving a crap. Y'know what. I don't even know this dude's name. Mom and I just call him pervy, not to his face. I do my best not to say anything to his face. Okay, I'll shut up now.

This is kinda wierd but it sorts relates to yours alisha... Most if not all Burger Kings, Wendy's, McDonald's, Taco Bells or any other fast food of this sort have the same basic structural similarities. dont believe me, go look. they are all basically the same. What I do is take that to my advantage. I sit in the most strategic places. I sit in teh same exact place.. the place that faces the kitchen and the from door, the place that has the side doors to either of my immediate sides, and always with a clear sight of my car. that way i can see anyone that comes in through either of the doors, bathrooms, and who enters and exits the kitchen area. The only thing that i have my back to is the smoking area which NEVER has a door and is always facing the street. NO ONE ever notices that i do that.

On that same note, no matter where i am, i am always scanning my area. I dont mean nonchalantly looking at everyone.. i mean like using my surroundings to my advantage. Like at night in school, when its night time the light inside is OBVIOUSLY strong than the light outside. So it turns the windows into mirrors. i use those to see if there is anyone walking in the hallways. Use cars as mirrors as well. in the day light the darker paints reflect more in night time the lighter paints reflect more. i always see everyone and check them out, see what and all they are carrying and loaded they are. how much they can conceal and where they can conceal it. i've been accused of gawking at times. I always check out my surrounding in the event of an 'emergency'. check out the bushed to see which is thicker, see which trash cans are cemented to the ground and which can be moved. the parts in which the ground is high and the parts in which it is low. that way i can use it for cover and roll it with me to the bushes and then crawl all eth way to the nearest ditch or hill.... I know you all are looking at me like "wtf is his problem?"

I turn on ALL lights. very seldom do i turn lights off usually because i forget.

I cannot concentrate with total silence unless im under immense pressure. If i am studying, sleeping, or basically anywhere i need some sort of audio distraction. it needs to be audio distraction, like music, because if its visual then i will be staring at it non-stop.

I have the tendancy to be picky about grammar and spelling.... some of you all have noticed that ive corrected you all in one case or another.

I know this sounds VERY bizzare to you all.... and im betting a few are intruiged as to how i do it. All of this just comes to me subconsciously. Like Matt and his Skittles, All of you all's eating habits, and hayley's neat-freak habit.. thats what makes me... me. but in the event of a disaster, you all now know who to follow!

Very interesting. I never thought about it before but I do the same thing. If I am feeling uncomfortable in an area I dont know well, I will do the same things. you have to play it safe because you dont know what might happen.
I wonder if anyone ever sees us doing things like this and what they are thinking.

Oh and if you paranoid about spelling and grammar, you might want to check the first paragraph. About half way through on the right side you have a problem with "the" and you put "faces the kitchen and the from door" I dont think that "from door" thing quite works. Just thought I would let you know.

If I go into a place ...no matter what place or where it is....I always sit or stand (or whatever....) in the back...

Like...Take a class room for insince....Im` one of those people if i sit in the front, I feel like i`m being watched....even when i`m sitting in the middle I still feel like i`m being watched....

or like on a airplane...I sit in the far far far back ....as far back as you can go....My momma always gets upset or mad at me b.c i want to sit in the back...If i sit in the front of the plane...once again ...I feel like i`m being watched...

Yes same here, I turn on all lights also, sometimes even lights that I don't need, it just makes me feel safer.

I am the complete opposite, weather it be I am working, reading, or anything like that, I need the silence. All the time, like I have never ever had music on while doing homework, even the tv. I can't work and concentrate with even just a slight noise.

No, not at all. Like you said, it's what makes you...you. I don't find it bizzare or weird in any way. Quite interesting actually

I'm always scanning for different "exits" wherever I may go... in case of a fire or whatever. It's like a second nature... everywhere I go, hotel, friend's house, shoppingmall, shop, swimmingpool, you name it! I always try to count how many ways of a possible escape there is... like windows, rainpipes, frontdoor, backdoor!

Well I am a lot like Mullet as well in some ways. I am ALWAYS very aware of my surroundings sometimes to the extreme. I have a tendency to not be real trusting of people unless they earn my trust, especially strangers. I am always checking out the fastest exit when I am in large crowds etc... and even in small areas as well. I have a big thing with eye contact, if you are talking to me and NOT looking me in the eyes, you might as well forget it, I don't trust you!

-I ALWAYS have to be facing the entrance in a resturaunt etc.... like if there is a booth and one side faces the wall and one faces the front of the resturaunt I HAVE to be facing the entrance!!!!
-I have a tendency to be compulsive with locking up my house when I leave. I check doors 2 and 3 times to make sure they are locked and my security system is on!
-I am VERY "anal" about many things, tend to be a "perfectionist" especially at work etc...I ahve to have my med cart a certain way, and everything has to be organized. I guess that is why I am the charge nurse all the time
