Saw that on a bumper sticker and liked it.
Also, picked up a little post-card as part of the Season for NonViolence which reads;
GOSSIP FREE ZONE...
meaning before you think or speak, question:
Is it kind?
Is it true?
Is it necessary?
That sure puts me to the test. Especially when I visited with the in-laws a couple weeks ago!
IN fact, I had to go back the next day to do MY WORK, since i blew it the first round. (thank goodness for guilt)
We are all humans and just gotta keep trying and remember to have compassion for ourselves, as well as others.
