Creed and the Recession

*I put this in Political Banter, but it seems more fitting here.

This reunion is part of a long chain of other reunions in the past 5 years including:

Led Zeppelin

Smashing Pumpkins

Phish

No Doubt

Sugar Ray

just to name a few. I'd like to point out the enormously positive effects this have in various parts of our economy.

1) Even just the simple distribution of currency throughout the private sector keeps the heart pumping, so to speak. We throw $65-$100 in there, and that helps "stimulate" our economy alone.

2) Venues are getting a nice profit boost with Creed's reunion. ESPECIALLY these big venues like the Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

3) Vendors. Vendors. Vendors. Bands needs merchandise, fans need their stickers. Creed rocks out, fans need food and beverages to keep the rage burning. This really helps smaller concessions companies keep profits during these tough times.

4) Not to mention the ability to reconnect to much simpler, happier times with such inspirational music.

Overall this a great move in tough times, but let's hope the tensions within the band have truly subsided.
