Hmmm, if I had to assess, I'd say it's been a great year for music. I saw AIC, Tool, NIN, Pearl Jam, and a crapload of other bands I love. I got to hang out with friends on some of my concert jaunts and I'm capping off the year with a trip to Oregon to FINALLY see Floater. I so can't wait.
Personally, I wish things were a bit more stable, but you do what you have to do. I'm probably going to have to change careers, which I'm not keen on doing because I love what I do, but my job's about to be cut any day now. I'm pretty nervous about it, but I'm hoping I'll find something as fulfilling as my current job is (and a job that pays close to what I'm making
) Switching gears after so many years will be daunting, but you never know. It could work out fine.
