Similar unbelievabilty(?) that HD's story on the man stopping traffic has. No, his is more unbelieveable, this one is just embarassing--it was given to our Chemistry class by our teacher trying to give us an example of when we might apply Chemistry to our lives in the future.

FYI - City water is healthier and cleaner than bottle water. City water is constantly being cleaning and monitored. Not to mention its at an appropriate temp for health standard. Bottled water on the other hand is purified once and monitored only while at the plant. Once its bottled and shipped its only protected by a thin piece of plastic [and we all know how well that works!]. So if something were to find its way into our cities water system, the system would catch it and treat it. If something were to find it self into the bottle water plant, it could only be treated in the tank. If a contaminant were to get through and into a bottle, well.... Water bottles travel at whatever tempertarure the truck is in. In some cases its the regional temperature. Water inside the bottles is not monitored, so if a very nasty bacteria or virus were to get into the bottles, it would cultivate. In other words, you'd have a $2 dollar biology experiment. So, drink up!
