Warrior

With a glint in your eye and determined stare
You take on another day
Clad in warrior’s armor..
As Mars leads the way
With a Targe of smiles and sword of words
Carried proudly to the field
You thrust…hauke and parry…
As those ‘round you yield
Every blow that find’s it’s mark
Is chosen with greatest care
A warrior such as you, brave sir
Makes sure the fightin’s fair
When the skirmish is over
Back to the keep you’ll go
Content with the way the day worked out…
As you bask in the afterglow
