This warrior king rode
Songs of his battles
And bravery are told
By the sign of Mars sword
He was the one
Called the Scourge of God
Attila the Hun

Empires expand
So it will be
Before the hoard
The weaker will flee
Battles were fought
Battles were won
During the reign
Of Attila the Hun

Rome was afraid
Her emperor feared
Attila’s attack
Had been engineered
Towards ruling the West
A dying sun…
Would fall by the sword
Of Attila the Hun

The two forces clashed
Neither side a defeat
Rome and the Hun’s
Agreed to mutual retreat
The fight would be spared
For another day
Unaware that the Fates
Would not see it that way

For the love of a woman
A wedding was planned
Ilico’s heart filled with
Hate for this man
On their wedding bed
The murder was done
A battle for love…
Had brought down the Hun

Born of the Stepps…
On the Stepps he did die
His spirit rides free
On horseback he flies
Into the West
Towards setting sun
With a heart of a lion…
Attila the Hun.
