CreedInk Holiday e-card
OK..maybe I woke up as Grinchdancer again, but I would have hoped that a CreedInk holiday card could have expressed their beautiful lyrical sentiments, photos of their giving to the fans and community through the year - instead of some commercialized sales pitch. No offense to CreedInk's staff, but I just needed to express myself. Not sure how many others of you saw their card. The band has so much good to say about peace, joy and hope!

I'm with you, SD. I just saw it and it ticked me off. I mean, is it ALWAYS ABOUT THE ALMIGHTY F^%$#@* DOLLAR????!?!?? Sorry for the caps, but I am just really annoyed. I would have preferred nothing to what they sent. A nice message about peace to all would have been much more tasteful. Instead, we basically get an internet commercial. Grrrrrrr. I mean, they already have my money and then some.

Which side of the bed did you roll out of? ;) My Creed Sister!

Yeah I was dissapionted too, I was hoping for a video message from the band or something! When the hell is that magazine coming out??:dunno:

LMAO...not the good side! I don't know, call me crazy, but I'm sure they have made a ton of money and making a shameless pitch for more just galls me. This is the only official fan club I have ever joined, so I'm sure there are more people out there like me, who forked over the coin because they like the band so much. Why couldn't they have included a nice pitch for the WAWO Foundation? That would have been a good PR move, to ask people to think of giving to others at the the holiday rather than themselves (CreedInk, that is). |
I saw it too...  :thud: :dork: :slap:

It is pretty bad now a days, people have to make money on every little thing they can, all anybody cares about is maken money how ever they can they don't even care if they have to sue a friend to get it. money for nothin!
|
yeah...
I was expecting something they wrote, like that letter from creed ink... |
I agree with Souldancer and Dogstar. I've spent a decent amount of money on Creed this year and I felt it was a sales pitch too. It would have been nice to get an actual Christmas postcard of the guys in front of a Christmas tree or something in the mail, rather than a mass mailed sales pitch. It may have cost CreedInk a few bucks to show fan appreciation but isn't that what fan clubs are for? It can't be all take and no give.
|
I was disappointed as well. I expected more than an advertisement. And why send an advertisement for CreedINK to people who are already members of CreedINK?
|
And I hadn't even thought of that. Thanks for pointing that out, Teri.

More annoyed than surprised, I guess. Disgusted, disillusioned...the adjectives roll on.
