Superbowl Ads
Was it just me or were the ads this year boring? There were only two good ads that stuck out IMO - the Budweiser donkey ad (the donkey gets to be a clydesdale) and the Pepsi ad where the bears raid the house and dress up as people to buy some Pepsi.
The Visa ad with The Simpsons was good too, but other than that most of the ads were boring. You can watch all the ads here: http://www.ifilm.com/?sctn=collections&pg=superbowl2004 |
Yeah they were all pretty lame! The one I liked the most was the Jimmy Page Pepsi one, that was cute!!
|
you mean Hendrix
|
I liked the Budweiser donkey, Bud Light horse fart, MasterCard Homer, the Pepsi Hendrix... but that was about it. Didn't really like the Pepsi bears. It always seems like there's a great deal of hype surrounding the commercials, but only a few are really good.

They were OK, but I've seen way better. What happened to the return of Terry Tate: Office Linebacker I saw ads for that said it would return during the game? And the Jessica Simpson / Muppets commericial for Pizza Hut? There were some good ones I laughed at but don't remember what they were now.

Homer's Mastercard commercial was great. I absolutely loved the Subway commercial at the end of the game!

|
huh, didnt hear anything about that
|
nor did I
|
I also liked the one for IBM with Muhammad Ali. Sure it wasn't funny, but that man is a true hero whom I greatly respect and admire.

You said it, Colin!!! :) I thought that ad was pretty cool! Not only because it's IBM's, but because of Muhammed Ali, his words and calling Linux (the kid) a underdog! Heh, no more windows! |
