Personal Good and Bad for 2006
 

Sitting here having a drink thinking back on year :)

Good:

Bought new car
Moved out with friends (200 metres from beach :D )
Lost weight
Drinking alot
Discovered Alice In Chains (become one of my top 5 bands now, thanks dogstar for helping me get into them!)

Bad:

While to go to pay off my car
Still single
Working a shit job with long hours
Drink too much

Overall for me its been not as good as I would of hoped it could have been at this time last year. Guess I have next year to look forward to though ;)

Hmmm, if I had to assess, I'd say it's been a great year for music. I saw AIC, Tool, NIN, Pearl Jam, and a crapload of other bands I love. I got to hang out with friends on some of my concert jaunts and I'm capping off the year with a trip to Oregon to FINALLY see Floater. I so can't wait.

Personally, I wish things were a bit more stable, but you do what you have to do. I'm probably going to have to change careers, which I'm not keen on doing because I love what I do, but my job's about to be cut any day now. I'm pretty nervous about it, but I'm hoping I'll find something as fulfilling as my current job is (and a job that pays close to what I'm making :D ) Switching gears after so many years will be daunting, but you never know. It could work out fine.

My sister and her boyfriend got engaged on Christmas Day


Bad

Was sick on Christmas
Found a man dead at work who was stabbed to death back in November

Good:
got a 4.0 this past semester
got engaged about a week ago
passed 50,000 songs on my computer several weeks ago
listened to lots o' music
went to Gulf Coast area twice to assist with hurricane relief
University of Florida won NCAA Basketball championship
St. Louis Cardinals won World Series
University of Floriday made it to NCAA Football title game, to be played Monday, January 8 (yes, i'll be watching)

Bad:
still work @ (*^)(*&^ing Target
don't have my immediate future (post-graduation, this May) planned out step-for-step

alright, my year....let me see..hmm

Good:
-Joined this place (though cant say the same for the site) and met some very fine people, out of which many cooperated a lot for music related matters and one for some spiritual matters...thank you guys :)
- got promotion at work last month
- listened to a lot of music.... (pearl Jam and Mayfield 4 and lots of blues)
- got a brand new nephew...
- kicked lot of ass!!.. i mean, been very outspoken with faking people... so, lost couple of old friends too..


BAD:

- lost some weight, so aint in good shape
- no love, no glory
- chopped off my long hairs...
- no love still......
- been in long and disturbing spiritual issues.......
- failed almost all of the exams i gave.......
- and no lady's luck aint bad enough so ...no love still

bad ( a lot of things it was a hard year to me) ; i ended a long relationship , stopped working at one school, was seriously depressed , cried a lot , left my apartment...

good : I found someone very very special in april , I moved to my parents place , started working at a new school, made some special friends here on CF (you know who you are ;) ) and met 'the captain of my heart' (the same guy from april) on last days of december...and had the veery best Eve's day of my whole life...;)

Another thing that happened in 06 that kinda sucked was my parent's divorce.
