Prayers are needed!
Hey guys! I am yet again in need of your prayers! A family friend who we have known for years tried to commit suicide Monday. We just found out tonight about it to. He shot himself through the mouth and the bullet sent bone fragments into his brain.
He was life flighted to the hospital, and isn't doing good at all! He and his wife had recently divorced and about a week ago he had something happen to him at work that caused him to lose his vision. I don't know any more details than that. His son was the one who found him after he shot himself . Please pray for him and his family! Thank you! |

Thank you Kerri :hugs: I haven't heard anything new today, they were waiting to see if the swelling in his brain goes down before they do anything else.

Re: Prayers are needed!
I have an update...sort of! I saw my brother today and he told me that Zach (the man's son) told him that Jim (the man who shot himself) has some bad swelling in his brain and that its getting worse instead of better Wich isn't a good thing at all.
He was responsive before to but isn't responding to anything now So please keep them in your prayers! Here is a message with more detail that his wife Michelle sent out. It appears that they were separated and not divorced yet. Good Morning. Its 6 am in the morning and im having a hard time sleeping..thought id get on here and deliver bad news to those of you who dont know. My husband Jim shot himself on Valentines day..I guess he was so despondent he didnt want to live. Hes still alive and in MUO hospital in Toledo. We have been separated since August of 2006. Jim has suffered with depression for many years but i couldnt get him to see a doctor for it or even take medication for it.Recently he had went blind. He has been blind for 20 years in his right eye.But his left eye had an implant that was slipping...I encouraged him over and over to go to the doctor in the last few weeks but to no avail..it is a simple operation that could save his sight.. he couldnt see so he quit his job...zach and alicia his fiance had moved in with him to help him and emily has been going back and forth between us. Its a sad situation.. I guess he thought his life was not worth living..I couldnt reason with him..for the past few months Jim would not talk to me at all...I just cant believe this has happend ..Please keep him and our family in your prayers...we are devastated..i have attached a few photos , blessings to you and yours...michelle ps the baby in the picture is zachs little daughter to be...he and alicia conrad and her baby will be tieing the knot in april at house of prayer...keep zach in your prayers he is having the hardest time of all as he found his dad. Zach has been a pillar for us and im so proud of my kids... |
